Reynolds Physiotherapy is offering both in person and virtual appointments at this time. Masks are optional within our space. Sharlene will wear one if you arrive in a mask. We would continue to ask that if you are feeling unwell that you reschedule or change your appointment to a virtual session. Our booking and email reminders will have more specific instructions on procedures for arrival. You can use either the entrance off of McEown Ave or come in through the mall.

I look forward to seeing you!

Physiotherapy can be beneficial to assist with pain, limitation or dysfunction through many areas of the body. Our goal is to help restore and optimize function so you can get back to the activities you love or tackle new ones without limitation. A thorough assessment will involve looking at how different parts of the body are integrating and making a plan to help optimize them. Treatment will involve hands-on techniques to restore mobility of tissues and joints as well as education and exercises prescription. Having you independent and doing all the things you love in life is our ultimate goal.

Sharlene Reynolds is the sole owner of Reynolds Physiotherapy. She has spent her career working in private practice focused mostly on pelvic health. She graduated with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan Physical Therapy Program in 1998. Prior to that she also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy. She has over 20 years of clinical experience with extensive post graduate training in pelvic health, orthopaedics, persistent pain and the sensitive nervous system.

Sharlene continues to learn and grow from the interactions she has with her clients as well from being a lifelong learner who strives for new knowledge. She is certified in the integrated systems model which has given her a unique approach to physiotherapy that enables her to see the body as interconnected. Other areas of dysfunction often need to considered in order to optimize recovery as pain can be driving from different locations in the body. Because of this background she enjoys working with more complicated clients helping them achieve a new level of function. Sharlene’s passion is working with new and not so new moms restoring their core and pelvic floor. She believes that no woman should have to live with pelvic floor dysfunction and that optimizing the pelvis is key to allow other areas like the back and hips to function without pain. Sharlene empowers clients to return to previous recreational pursuits and facilitates the core/pelvic region to return to its “automatic state” by teaching body awareness strategies that assist clients in being independent.

In her leisure time Sharlene keeps busy with two teenage children and can be seen at many a softball or soccer game. She enjoys hiking with her family and their loveable Labrador, while cross-country skiing keeps her active in the winter months. Sharlene loves time up north wilderness canoeing and spending time under the stars at the family farm.
